Rolla, Missouri, is the home of one of the “best buy” universities in the USA, Missouri University of Science and Technology. Rolla’s slogan is “The Middle of Everywhere.” Rolla is approximately two hours west of St. Louis, two hours east of Springfield, two hours southwest of the state capital, Jefferson City, and two hours south of the Lake of the Ozarks. The population of Rolla is approximately 20,000. Due to being the home of the Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla is home to people from over 70 nations. People in Rolla can experience both small town living and diverse cultures, a feature that makes Rolla unique.
