If a person moves here, he or she must know either Hindi or Haryanvi, our regional language because it would be nearly impossible to communicate with people here because only a few know English in my region. Secondly, he or she must know some of the places here.

Rohtak is one of the cleanest cities, having less polluted air. The people of Rotak are very friendly and helping in nature. It would be good for people who want a pollution-free environment.

Know about the great street food. There are many parks and people are nice. There are many colleges and a big university. The food here mainly comprises of dairy products and ghee. The language can seem a bit rude but people are very friendly once you get to know them. It is similar to Punjab cities except the language.

Before moving you must be aware of the following points:
– Don’t go out after 10.
– Always carry cash.
– Buy a scooter so you wouldn’t face travelling issues.
– Don’t trust anyone here.
– All over, it’s a green and clean city.
– Limited party places to hang out.
– It’s called an education city of Haryana.

He should know Hindi for interaction with locals. He should be aware of choice of transportation available for moving here. He should be adaptive to very high and very low temperature. In summer temperature varies from 40-48°C and in winter it hits 0°C.

Rohtak city is my hometown and my birthplace. The city is perfectly clean and green. The speciality of my place is its fingerlicking sweets, and the best is Rewri (a sweet made of dried til). Some famous tourist spots are also there in Rohtak, for instance The Tilyar lake, Myna garden, The Mud house etc. The residents are heartwarming and kind. They are always eager to help everybody. My city is surely a place to pay a visit.
