The individual should know the city is very rural. The median income is fairly low when compared to other locations around the nation, and finding well-paying jobs can be difficult. On the flip side, Ringgold is located near Chattanooga, which does have some interesting places to visit; there exist an aquarium, many restaurants, and beautiful parks to check out. Additionally, due to the low cost of living, housing remains extremely cheap.

Ringgold is a small and quiet town. There are an abundance of convenience stores and fast food restaurants. It is a historical town known for civil war reenactments. The schools are impressive with low dropout rates and the people are warm and welcoming. Ringgold is 20 minutes from downtown Chattanooga and its nightlife.
