I reside in Ridgewood, a small town in the borough of Queens, New York. The town itself has very rich history, being the birthplace of Queens’ first movie theater, to being made up of a community of immigrants from all around the world. Ridgewood is very diverse and you can find neighbors that come from South America, Europe, and everything between. However, as time progresses, younger generations are slowly moving in and the older generations, that were the foundation of this town, are slowly moving out. I’ve been witnessing the undeniable shift in cultures and generations.
