Redmond has four seasons, and is home to some of the largest technology companies in the world. The majority of homeowners in Redmond have lived in the area an average of five years.

Anyone moving to Redmond should consider the price of housing and their commute time. House prices in Redmond are much higher than the national average. Many of the large technology companies are based in or near Redmond, causing much longer commute times than one might expect for the distance covered.
