Ratnagiri is a coastal city in the state of Maharashtra having a population of 1,600,000. It is famous for Alphonso Mangoes. Ratnagiri has many beaches with scenic beauty and more places which attracts a lot of tourists yearly. It is a warm place with very heavy rains during the monsoon season.
