Although a bilingual province, most locals in the city speaks French so it is very important to have a little knowledge of French. It is a city with a wide number of tourist attraction spots and heritages. The city is very diverse. Compared to Montreal, the parking payment costs extra. With regards to housing and lodging, apartments are less expensive.

Québec City is a gorgeous city, with plenty of green spaces to enjoy and old, history-filled buildings and streets. Living here is also significantly less expensive than in bigger cities like Toronto and Montréal. As unemployment rates are low, I feel as if people in Québec have all they need to achieve work-life balance and life an almost stress-free life.
