The city is centrally located between Panjim, the capital city and commercial hub; and the North Goa entertainment belt of Calangute, Baga and Candolim. There are plenty of schools and hospitals nearby, and all basic essential stores. One concern though, would be that the roads definitely need to be repaired – the various potholes, especially on the Chogm Road stretch – are a hazard when driving.
