The sun is very hot during the summer and sometimes during the fall. It also gets very cold in the beginning and ending of the year. So make sure when you are going outside you wear at least 3 layer clothing and a pair of gloves. But overall you would learn to love Florida because it is a very diverse state and the oranges are very juicy.

Port St Lucie is a fine city on Florida’s Treasure Coast. It features the beautiful St Lucie river, which leads to Lake Okeechobee. Boating and fishing are fantastic on the river and on the famous Hobe Sound. Hutchinson Island has miles of pristine beaches on the Atlantic Ocean.

Port Saint Lucie is a wonderful city! It is only a 30-minute drive from the glorious Florida beaches. Port Saint Lucie always has something to do for everyone. One of the Indian River State College campuses is located here which is very handy for someone currently in school, or looking to return.

Port St. Lucie is a community that grew significantly after hurricanes destroyed parts of south Florida in the 1990s. Although lacking direct beach access, the St. Lucie River runs through the city, providing residents with water-related recreational activities. Without a historic city center, the charm of an old town has been created in the Tradition Village area with housing and retail establishments centered around a town square and lake. Port St. Lucie continues to grow as an ideal place to raise a family.
