Pittsford is a suburb of Rochester, NY. It is known for excellent schools and safe neighborhoods. However, it does lack diversity. Most people are white; there are few people of color. The median income is very high. As a middle-class family it can be a challenge to find affordable housing.

Pittsford is a small town located just 20 minutes from the city of Rochester. The town sits on the Erie Canal, a waterway historically used for trade and travel. Today, the canal is a spot for recreation such as kayaking, boating, and fishing. Those who prefer to be on land will find the walking trails to be perfect for hiking and biking, or just taking a stroll with family.
