If someone moves to Phenix City, it is both a city with a nice area, and a city with lot of crime. This all depends on the area at which that person looks. There are a lot of places to shop, but not as many as there would be if you were to visit a nearby city, such as Columbus or Opelika. I enjoy living here because the cost of living is cheaper than its more highly populated neighboring cities.

Phenix City is right next to Columbus, Georgia. It is a beautiful city with many historic background stories. Phenix City is very well known for being right on the Chattahoochee River which connects to Columbus, Georgia. The city is also very small with a population of only 29,000 people. There is a lot of land throughout.

Phenix CIty, although small and often disregarded, hides within its borders strong, interesting histories. Along with stories such as the infamous Sin City and the famous Chattahoochee River that provides power to many families and businesses on both sides of the river, Columbus and Phenix City, one moving here should be open to the idea of small and reserved living conditions, while also being willing to adventure into the beauties of surrounding areas.
