I’d recommend to whoever moves to Phagwara, Punjab, to learn the local language. Local language in Phagwara is ‘Punjabi’. Also, it will help if you know little bit about Punjabi culture. It will be a good way to build some meaningful relationships with local residents.

The environment is good as are the transportation facilities. Great shopping facilities are available and the medical facilities are remarkable. People are very friendly and education is world class with world-renowned Universities in the vicinity. Good facilities for educational training, gyms, and many parks are available for the children.

The city has a rich historical background. Many people here are NRIs and have some of the family members living in a foreign country. The city is known for its’ famous textile industry and sugar mill factories. The city was discovered by Shah Jahan. The railway station is a junction.
