Peshawar is located in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan. Outsiders normally don’t think of it as a safe place, but as far as I know, one can have many privileges compared to other cities. Locals, called the Pashtuns, are renowned for their hospitality. Inhabitants do enjoy access to better education, electricity, Natural Gas and other natural resources. Life here is actually pretty good, considering better living conditions, residential places etc.

Peshawar is a smaller city compared to the other major cities of my country. The people there are nice, friendly, and co-operative. Pashto, Peshawri, and Urdu are the major languages spoken in Peshawar. In terms of cuisine, my city is especially famous for its Chapli Kebab and Afghani rice. Peshawar has a rich history and it is believed that it is one of the oldest living cities of the world.

He must know about the specific culture of Peshawar. It is a Pukhtoon territory. Pukhtoons have specific norms and cultural values. They don’t like people who don’t respect their cultural values and beliefs. The people of Peshawar are very hospitable. The visitor/tourist should not be worried. They should aldo arrange a translator if they want to visit the rural areas.

This city is absolutely beautiful, but because of the pollution here and most people being illiterate, i would recommend not moving to this city. The people here can be friendly if your behavior with them is good, but that is not always the case as many people here are greedy for money and some can actually cross the boundaries to earn money which leads to you getting scammed.

Peshawar is one of the oldest cities in Asia and is the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Pashto is spoken in and around the city so if you happen to visit you might have quite an edge if you know a little Pashto. The name Peshawar is derived from the Sanskrit word meaning “City of Men”.
