Perugia has a long history. Founded by an ancient civilization known as Etruscans and later conquered by the Romans, it shows now its charming medieval vestige. Although quite small, the city hosts many museums, two universities and a couple of theatres. The station connects the city to the rest of the region and to other important cities of the country.
