Kumasi is popularly known as the Garden city of Ghana since there are a lot of trees grown all over the city. It is economically affordable to live in this city compared to the capital of Ghana, Accra. It has one of the best universities in the country which is Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.

Dubbed the garden city of West Africa, is also the second largest city in Ghana and the capital of the Ashanti region of Ghana.
