The municipality of Palo is a blossoming municipality; the famous landmark “MacArthur Park” can also be located by the shorelines of barangay Baras. With the rapid economic growth of the place, it is no wonder that the municipality shall be considered a city in few years time. Headed by the Petilla family, Palo shall continue to be developing into a fun and amazing city.

Palo, Leyte, is known for being hospitable people in the whole world, with great smile that attributes to the beauty within every citizen. It is known as the capital of Catholicism in the region and where General MacArthur monument were located. It is also a great place for beaches, resorts and native delicacies.
