Palmyra is a nice small town. The majority of the scene stretches down the main road so traveling will not be an issue if you want to hit multiple stops. Great local restaurants and stores are a great way to spend your night out. If you like more of the busy night out scene, Palmyra is only a ten minute drive to downtown Hershey.

Before coming to Palmyra, people need to know several things about the city. they need to know how close the city is to Hershey. The proximity to such a tourist attraction is essential when discussing commute times. people must understand how quiet things become at night, for the simple fact that city-dwellers are not keen on sleeping in complete silence.

Be open to close-mindedness. In reality, although very conservative and ethnically homogeneous in years past, Palmyra is a beautiful small American town that is growing and diversifying demographically. Be prepared for friendly folks who are full of warm salutations.
