Oxford is primarily a college town. Most of the residents of Oxford are students who attend Miami University. Although, some of the people that live here are locals or professors. There is not much to do in Oxford since it is primarily made up of college students. If having a drink at a local bar sounds fun to you, this may be the place you want to live.

HELPFUL REPORT

The city of Oxford, Ohio, is in the southwest corner of the state. Oxford is approximately one hour from Dayton, one hour from Cincinnati, and two hours from Columbus. Oxford is a quaint college town with Miami University located there. Oxford has many fine local eateries, popular franchises, and hotels to support the many events that come to Miami University and Oxford.

Oxford is a small college town. Thus, many of its businesses take advantage of college students looking for local employment. It is a lovely town on the surface, but a sophisticated adult looking for a new place to go out for an evening would likely end up feeling disappointed. The long distance between Oxford and the nearest cities would only exacerbate this feeling.
