Although Oudtshoorn is a very small town, it is great for raising a family. As a teenager, I was often bored and complained about the town a lot; but, upon reflection, I am grateful to have grown up in such a safe town. My town is well known for its large Ostrich export and thus we have a booming tourism industry.

Oudtshoorn is the central hub of the beautiful Eden district. For many it is the Ostrich capital of the world. Beautiful mountain ranges can be found all around my city. The nearest coastline is only sixty kilometers east of my town. The world-famous Cango Caves are in my City.
