Moving towards ANY city, one must always consider one’s basic necessities. These may include basic utilities, education, health care facilities, housing costs, and the such. Living in my city also means a taste of the province life. With the city not as populated compared to highly urbanized capitals, you get to experience how it is to live simply. Given that the city is just little, one has easy access to entertainment, sporting events, to malls, parks, gyms,, etc.

Ormoc City is a safe and peaceful place, where every citizen is friendly and disciplined. It is a small and quiet city, but you can find malls and pubs if you want to shop and party. If you are the adventurous type, the city also offers mountains if you want to hike and smell the breeze of fresh air.

Our city has many breathtakingly beautiful spots. It is not the biggest city in the country but it is a thriving one. Ultimately, Ormoc City is known for its beautiful people called Ormocanons. Ormocanons are not only physically beautiful but we are also tagged as beautiful because of our hospitality, among others. it’s more fun in Ormoc City!

Ormoc City is a beautiful and scenic city. There are lots of tourist spots you can visit. These include mountainscapes and seascapes such as lakes, falls, flowing rivers, visiting orchards, and hiking on mountains. The most famous is Lake Danao where you can enjoy lots of amenities like the floating cottage and area viewing.

Ormoc City is one of the safest cities known in the Eastern Visayas Region. It has improved its security and roadways for motorists to be safe while travelling at night. It has wonderful scenery that can offer a wide variety of experiences to a tourist. And people of the city are friendly.

There is an ordinance passed prohibiting smoking cigarettes in public places all over the city’s territory. Any person violating such ordinance will be fined 1,000 pesos or imprisoned for six months or both at the discretion of the judge. Ormoc City is still a fairly small city so there are things which big cities have cannot be found in Ormoc City.
