Onibudo-Akute is a border town between Lagos State and Ogun State and has over 100,000 inhabitants. The city is accessible by road from Oshawa and by river transportation through Gain. Onibudo-Akute is the administrative headquarter town of a local government with fifteen towns. There are quite a number of social services available at Onibudo. These include churches, mosques and traditional worship centers. The economy of the town is viable.
