Oaxaca is pretty and has its own culture, including many folkcrafts. Accordingly, it is increasingly “discovered” with the attendant tourism and rising prices. A big downside here is poor infrastructure, as evidenced by constant garbage problems and a severe lack of water.

Oaxaca is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Mexico. Here, you will find an abundance of art work, the area is rife with talented artists and artisans of many varieties.
