Those moving to Norwood, Missouri should consider some different things before actually making the move to this area.

We are about an hour to an hour and fifteen minute drive to Springfield, Missouri where most of the major shopping is: Home Depot, Target, Lowes, Menards, the mall and other major shopping.

The second thing to consider is that we are very rural. Think lots of acreage, dairy farmers, Amish, Mennonite, cattleman and ‘good ol’ boys. It’s just a different lifestyle that you may want to ask a ‘transplant’ about before making the more.

If you are needing to be close a hospital you can still live in our area but you might want to consider becoming part of the Life Flight network for medical emergencies.

Living rural is beautiful, quiet and peaceful but each family has to take their own needs into consideration and do your due diligence in research before actually moving.
