I would advise someone moving to North Vancouver to be aware of how expensive housing is. However, the reason why prices are so steep is because it’s a beautiful place. North Vancouver has a lot to offer because it is surrounded by water and mountains.

HELPFUL REPORT

North Vancouver is north of the northernmost arm of the Fraser River. It is part of the Greater Vancouver Regional District, and is accessible from the city of Vancouver by two bridges. It has three local ski areas, including the site for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics: Cypress Mountain Resort.

North Vancouver, due to its proximity to the city of Vancouver, enjoys a substantial increase in popularity. This exposure was caused by winter Olympics which took place in 2010. The city has since then lost its prized status of well kept secret. It has also become one of the most expensive places to live in Canada. Should you consider moving here, you need to realize that, while jobs are relatively easy to find, well paid business opportunities are less so.
