New London, WI, is not that large, with a low population and little job availability. However, Appleton is a larger city which is 45 minutes away with many job and recreational opportunities. The public school district is ranked above average on both a state and national scale. If one moves to New London with children, they should feel secure knowing that the teachers will do an adequate job.
