Nanyuki is based along the equator in a semi-arid climate hence it can get extremely hot during the day and cold in the evening. It’s also very relaxed and slow paced hence you won’t find business opening as early as you would in other major towns. It also has an active nightlife but would recommend having some means of travel when moving around at night. It’s also a destination town meaning there are a tons of nature related activities for the more outdoorsy people.
The state’s head offices are based in Nanyuki. There is an abundance of fresh farm produce along with a reliable power supply to every household in Nanyuki. One should also know there are two reliable health care facilities and the crime rate in the city is considerably low.
