Nagoya is a pretty large city with all the basic amenities, but not overwhelmingly large. It is pretty safe and easy to get around on public transport. Both mountains and sea are within easy day-trip range. Not a huge arts and entertainment scene, but some and also very central so getting to Kansai (Osaka/Kyoto/Kobe) in one direction and Tokyo area in the other can be done within a couple of hours using the bullet train.

Although this is a big city with tall buildings, you would love to come over and visit many places if you like partying with your friends or just with your love ones. Nagoya is a beautiful place to meet new and friendly people. if you are moving to a place with many opportunities, Nagoya is the best city for you.
