Knowing the language of our city is very important. It is good, if they have someone who is familiar with the surroundings and know how to deal with the people. Knowing the hospitals, schools and other important buildings in their surrounding would help them have a better life in our city.

My city is Nagercoil, Kanyakumari. It is in southern most part of Kanyakumari. This is the place with less pollution. Cost of living is cheaper here. West is western ghats and on south lies ocean. Here we can see sunrise and sunset at the same location. Best place for the people who enjoys nature.

It is at the southern tip of India. Kanyakumari which is a tourist attraction cum pilgrimage is just 10 kms from Nagercoil. In Kanyaku. ari only the Indian ocean, Bay of Bengal and Arabian sea meet. Nagercoil is at the border of Tamil Nadu and Kerala states. The literacy of the town is the highest in the country.

Whenever you get chance to visit Nagercoil don’t miss Nagaraja Temple from which Nagercoil derive its name, the sunset in the hidden twin beach Kanyakumari and the Padmanabhapuram Palace in Padmanabhapuram which is built in 1601 C. E. There are lot more places to visit in Nagercoil. Puttu with Lentils is the Popular food item in Nagercoil.

The city faces has a lot of traffic jams. The roads are not perfect due to pits in them. The famous thing about our city is that it is full of shopping malls.

Nagercoil is the capital of Kanyakumari District. Our city has many Schools and Colleges. As it is sharing its border with the other state Kerala, the slang differ place to place. We have good hospital facility also. The whole District is blessed with the wonderful gift of Nature. Though people live here belong to different religion, they are living with unity.

Nagercoil is a small city at the tip of the Indian peninsula. Tamil and Malayalam are the commonly spoken languages. Its rich in beautiful beaches and coconut groves. Educational institutions are good here. The place is known for its unique culture and developing market. Anyone visiting this place will fall in love with it.
