Muskegon is a small lumber town with gorgeous beaches, parks, and a fantastic view of Lake Michigan. There are numerous restaurants and activities for families to enjoy. The cost of living is affordable. You can enjoy camping, golfing, shopping, and much more. Many of the people here are friendly. Once you move here, you will never want to leave.

We are on the lakeshore with beautiful, sprawling white sand beaches. We have an up and coming downtown scene with many new breweries and shops. Winters as of late have been fairly mild but usually we get many inches to several feet of snow which allows us to have many winter sports. At the Winter Sports Complex in North Muskegon, you can ice skate, sled, cross country ski, or even try your hand at luging.

In Muskegon, lake effect causes the weather to fluctuate greatly from day to day. The weather forecast is usually incorrect because conditions change quickly. when planning an outing to the park, it’s always best to be prepared for wind, rain, or even snow. Additionally, you should invest in home insurance so you can be ready for whatever the lake throws at you.
