Our city is rich in culture and history. We have festivals like Dinagyang that celebrate our indigenous background and come together to join in marveling at the energy the dance numbers within the event have to offer. We also have a variety of food to enjoy, local or otherwise, from street stalls to restaurants that offer very delicious Filipino cuisine.

Iloilo City is one of the highly urbanized city. We are also known for our La Paz batchoy. It is like a soup with variety of ingredients, the taste is impeccable. The people are very accommodating and hospitable. We celebrate festivals in honor of our saints and the most famous festival is Dinagyang Festival. It is celebrated every third Sunday of January. People are parading in the streets, dancing and having a good time. Many tourists come in Iloilo to witness such festivity.

The city is known for its crazy nightlife. People at night would drink and party so much that they could not even remember the blinking lights of the bar they went in. The number of people inside the bar would defeat the coldness of the people inside the room because of how they dance all night. People who went home from the bar in Iloilo might went home with so much sweat but for sure they went home with so much fun.
