Muñoz is a 4th class city in the province of Nueva Ecija. Science City of Muñoz has 37 Barangays, you will find here the Philippines Carabao Center of the Philippines and the Philippine Rice Research Institute. Our city also has a State University which makes the national recognized ice cream, the Tilapia Ice Cream.

HELPFUL REPORT

Science City of Munoz is surrounded by different government institutions that focuses on the research and enhancement of agricultural products such as rice, fish and carabao. One of the biggest university in Central Luzon is also in the city. It is the first city to implement proper waste disposal and strictly prohibits the use of plastics.

Science City of Munoz is a great place. The city has difference branches of the government involved in scientific research most notably in agriculture. The Central Luzon State University is another center of excellence in Sciences with students coming from other parts of the world to study from Animal Science to Crop Protection. The city is a peaceful community with a very tiny percentage of crime compared to other cities. Vast areas of rice fields are found here, a primary source of income for many families.

Munoz is a good city to move and live to. It is a city rich in agricultural products like rice and many vegetables like onion and squash. It is not congested unlike other cities in Nueva Ecija. it is one of the only two Science Cities in the world.
