Mount Prospect has been voted one of the best towns The village has great school districts, and parks. The park district has a Rec Center, Community Center, and an incredible number of parks. Mount Prospect’s downtown is along the Metra train line; easily connecting to Chicago all the way to the far Northwest suburbs.
Mount Prospect is a great city. It is an hour outside of Chicago if you take the train which goes through the middle of downtown. People in Mount Prospect are very friendly and neighborly. It is a very tight knit community that cares for its members. Also, schools in Mount Prospect are some of the highest ranked in Illinois and do a wonderful job educating it’s students.
