Monson is incredibly small in terms of population, though not area. I would estimate that roughly 75% of it is forest. I am a recent graduate of the high school there, and my class consisted of 66 students by the end of senior year. In essence, know we are a tight-knit community, and that it is easy to do well academically given the lack of competition. However, not much happens.

Monson is a charming town east of Springfield, Massachusetts. In addition to having plenty of space to roam and enjoy nature, the amazing fall foliage makes the town an ideal destination. For those looking for something a little more exciting, you will find restaurants, movie theaters, and even an amusement park just a short drive away.
