Monroe is a small city in the metropolitan area of Charlotte. The post office is located downtown near the courthouse therefore everything is within walking distance. Historic downtown Monroe is known for many unique small restaurants and small businesses. There are many exemplary housing developments that can contribute to educating children.

Monroe, NC, is a charming, somewhat rural, town. There is beautiful historic architecture and meandering fields and farms sprinkled across the landscape. Traffic is minimal and life is slow paced. It is a wonderful place to reside and raise a family.

Monroe, North Carolina, is the center of Union County. Monroe holds Union County government centers such as the counties courthouse, and other judicial buildings. Monroe has many entertainment venues such as parks, lakes, movie theaters, shopping centers, and community pools. Monroe is also a hotspot for industrial workers, construction workers, and trade workers.
