I reside in Minot, ND in the northwest of the state. Minot is known as the Magic City. This small town is home to a state university and is very family friendly. While the population is approximately 48,000, this small town has many amenities of a larger city. There are many family friendly activities and Minot is home to the North Dakota State Fair and Norsk Høstfest, a festival that brings travelers from all over the world.

Minot is not a very large city. Minot has just enough going on to keep a person healthy and occupied, not much else. The youth culture is underdeveloped, and the city feels out of touch with the people who reside in it. Many people say that my hometown, Minot, is boring.
