Some considerations for those who consider moving to Midland, Michigan would include where to live and local attractions. New community members should carefully review the floodplain to ensure that the residence they choose will not be impacted by flooding. Local attractions are family oriented and focused on the natural beauty found in mid-Michigan. These attractions include beautiful Dow Gardens featuring handicap accessible paths and a canopy walk overlooking the immaculate scenery and Chippewa Nature Center featuring a less manicured natural setting. Other attractions include the Tridge (a three-way bridge), free live music performances, art shows, farmers markets and a recently rejuvenated downtown filled with unique local eateries and shops.
