Merida is an Andean city in Venezuela, it has the highest and longest cable car in the world which is on Pico Bolivar. Merida is the only city in Venezuela where snow falls. Mérida is the city of gentlemen thanks to the good customs of the inhabitants. Mérida is a perfect place for living.

When moving to Mérida, know this city is quite calm. You cannot expect a lot of nightlife since there is not a lot of clubs and most of Mérida’s ambience is created by school life. However, if you are a student planning to enroll in ULA, this will be beneficial.
