The city of Mcallen, Texas, is commonly known for its high density of people of Hispanic descent. People planning to move to this area should take that into consideration as the culture is highly different from many other cities in Texas. Many social norms are different as well as a majority of its people prefer to speak Spanish. One of the most important aspects of the city is the high diversity of food that is available a all times.

McAllen is a city that shares a border with Mexico, while also benefiting from the many opportunities one has by living in the United States. Our culture is deeply entwined with Mexico and because of our proximity, we get to enjoy the best of both worlds, by visiting Mexico regularly. The majority of the population in McAllen know Spanish and are Hispanic. You would love living in McAllen and would get a healthy dose of the Latino lifestyle.
