Maynooth is a university town. It is a small, close-knit community, with a great sense of community. It is a lovely place to go for walks, with beautiful scenery and lots of friendly faces to see when walking down the Main Street. The range of stores within walking distance is something rarely seen in small towns, and the nightlife, (especially during term time), is not to be missed.
