Anyone visiting my city should know country life is quite different here. The people are charming but very wary of strangers. It is unusually quiet at times and then a loud burst of music can easily startle you. Visiting Mayaro can be very enjoyable for those seeking an escape from city life and the hustle and bustle.

There are not many fun activities to get involved in but the area is quite lively. The people here are very friendly and helpful, great beaches lots of sun and warmth. Small community where everyone knows each other. The only real problem really is that crime is a bit high due to lack of unemployment.
