The city I am from is named May Pen. It is a small city with people with a bubbly personality. There are many eateries, malls, banks and a variety of entertainment for you. The real estate market is good and you will be able to get affordable housing. The streets are clean and there is effective policing.

May Pen is the main town in the parish of Clarendon. May Pen is on the Rio Minho river, which is the longest river in the country of Jamaica. May Pen is home to the Denbigh Agricultural and Industrial Food Show, which is held annually in August during our Independence celebrations. It is the largest show in our island and attracts visitors from all over the country, and from abroad.

It is good to note that Clarendon is the third largest parish in Jamaica and it has several rivers. May Pen, the town where I live, consists of great air quality and housing is easily accessible. Clarendon can now be considered a developed parish as in addition to its several hospitals, clinics and government facilities in the parish, we also have a movie theater, gyms, lots of restaurants that are affordable and several fast food chains, namely Domino’s Pizza, Pizza Hut, KFC and Burger King.

May Pen is the capital of the parish of Clarendon. It is small and lively. There are numerous shops, bars and even a gymnasium for those who are into fitness. The town is mainly along Manchester avenue and the May Pen Hospital is located a mile from the town center which has a very antiquated colonial-style clock. There are no cinemas in the town. Glenmuir High School is not very far from the town. It is one of the most prestigious high schools in the parish.
