Mathura is a sacred city in Uttar Pradesh, northern India. The deity Lord Krishna is said to have been born on the site of Sri Krishna Janma Bhoomi, a Hindu temple. Dotting the Yamuna River are 25 ghats (flights of steps down to the water), of which Vishram Ghat is considered the holiest.

Mathura is a city which is known to people across the world. Most people speak Hindi in Mathura but there are a good number of people who speak Brij Bhasha. Mathura came into light when there was a case related to Jawahar Bagh in 2016. Ever since that incident there is peace all around in Mathura.
