If you’re coming to Marrakesh in summer, know that the heat can be unbearable at times. Be ready to invest in an AC and some sunscreen. The people are very hospitable, so don’t be surprised when they offer you tea, which is Morocco’s favorite drink, when you’re simply walking down the street. If you’re a woman, I’m afraid you will have to get used to catcalling! Men feel it an obligation to show their admiration for women walking in front of them.
