Manitowoc is along Lake Michigan, so residents and visitors can enjoy the waterfront. There is a ferry that transports cars and people to other towns in Michigan. There is also a Maritime Museum that showcases maritime history. People can also enjoy the many beaches, boat and kayak launches, and trails along the lake.

Manitowoc is known for the Steven Avery criminal case, but there is more to our city than that. It has grown a lot over the years, with new businesses moving in. Manitowoc also holds its history, such as keeping the Badger, which is a car ferry that takes trips over to MI.
