Manchester is adventurous and full of opportunity, however there also happens to be a significantly high crime rate in Manchester NH. Shootings, robberies and violent crimes seem to be a daily occurrence within some parts of the city. The housing market is also quite high with one-bedroom apartments costing an absurd amount of money in rent per month.

Manchester is a typical small city of 100,000 or so residents. You can easily find the recreation and entertainment you want, whether it be nice restaurants or family activities such as bowling or mini-golf. There is plenty of shopping and the stores are varied. You can get anything you need from groceries to fabrics, to a new fishing rod for your camping trip. It has the amenities of a city but a sleepy, small-town atmosphere. Many parts can be quite calm and peaceful, almost sleepy.

If you plan on moving to Manchester, NH, there are a few important things to be made aware of: the first being that the city itself is a delight. Beautiful architecture, a rich history, delicious foods, and great people are just a few of the many things that I happen to adore about my city. There is also a great nightlife to be had — with bars resembling famed speakeasies, clubs, and other venues for you to enjoy!
