People who are moving to manchester should know that many parts of the city are dangerous. It that in mind you should be careful and always be vigilant. However please know that you should at least try and enjoy your time here. The arndale is a nice place to visit, as it has a food court.

There is a lot of crime in my city. Anyone considering moving to my city should know phone theft is a very common crime. I would advise them to avoid taking out their phone in public, particularly on busy main roads. They should also know that the price of rent in my city is quite high compared to surrounding areas.

The weather is terrible. The skies will almost always be grey and you’ll need a lot of jackets. When the weather is nice, you probably won’t be around to see it. Nonetheless, this is all part of Manchester’s characteristic industrial charm, and you will learn to love it. On the rare occasion that the sun does decide to come out, you will be all the more thankful.

If moving to Manchester, know during peak hours of 9am to 11am and 4pm to 6pm you cannot move in the city centre. Our public transport isn’t all that good either. Many tourists choose to use the metro link or Uber to move around the city.
