If you plan to move to Malaybalay City, you should be ready to bring sweaters and heaters because the weather in our city is cold. One more thing you need to consider is that our city is small and has limited shopping centers, especially malls. you must think twice before you decide to live in a “city inside the forest”.

Malaybalay is a city with a small town feel. The weather is nice and because of its high altitude the temperature is cold for a place in a tropical country. Malaybalay is home to members of indigenous people in the country. Often the city is often described as place of cool weather but warm people.

If a person moves to Malaybalay City, they should consider the people they want to be around with. Most people living there are not that friendly. There is always something going on with other people’s wives and kids. In short, you won’t be bored there.

Expect a very small city that closes at around seven pm and a very small community. The people are used to waking up early and commuting to go to school or work. Finding a house to rent is easy and cheaper than other cities. This city has a zoo, plaza, fresh market, mall, and fast food chains and other amenities.
