Someone who wishes to move to my city should know that it is an hour by train to London and with several train stations in this city, it is very convenient to travel and work in London. Many Londoners are looking to invest in properties in this city as properties are comparatively cheaper, with more open spaces. Properties with gardens are very much more affordable than London properties.
Maidstone is a busy town with many shops, museums, places of historical interest and a thriving nightlife. In recent years the boom in online shopping has impacted the high street but there are a growing number of independent businesses which continue to thrive. For example, Frederic Bistro is a fantastic, local, authentic French restaurant serving high quality cuisine. There’s also Trash or Treasure; a shabby chic enthusiast’s dream, where it’s quite possible to get lost for hours.
