Macclesfield is a large town with a rich history, and a friendly community of residence who care about the wellbeing and reputation of the town as a whole. Those who are socially inclined will likely find themselves satisfied with the range of restaurants, pubs and bars to meet people in.

However, individuals who prefer to spend their time on specific hobbies – such as venturing to the cinema or live concerts – will likely find themselves feeling somewhat dissatisfied with what Macclesfield has to offer. Thankfully it’s a central town, meaning you can easily get to other large towns and cities easily via public transport.

If you’re really stuck with finding a way to spend your spare time, you can always take a venture up to the local countryside, and get lost within the larger expanses of nature.
