While the cost of living in Lucasville, OH is quite low, know the job selection here is quite slim. The nearby factory is not currently hiring, and we have a couple of big name food and retail stores that usually have a couple of openings. If you want higher quality groceries than the Save-A-Lot, you will have to go to probably Portsmouth’s Walmart or Waverly’s Kroger. There are not many choices for food, but the local Giovanni’s has decent calzones. All in all, it is not the most desired place in Ohio but has some great potential, and good people in the community that tend to be more polite and/or helpful than in some bigger cities in the region like Chillicothe.
